Rae Motorsports 3" Quad-Tip Catback Review — VB WRX
I ordered my Rae Motorsports 3" Dual Exit Quad-Tip Catback on August 4th and received it on August 27th. Throughout the entire process, their customer service was stellar. They answered all of my questions and were great to work with.
Installation was straightforward and the Rae hardware uses 13mm.
As for the exhaust itself, I'm extremely happy with it. I went with the resonated + muffled setup, and the sound is exactly what I wanted. It's noticeably louder with a deeper, more aggressive boxer rumble without being ridiculously obnoxious.
I've only put about 50 miles on it so far, so I'm still waiting for it to fully break in, but my first impressions are excellent. The quad tips also completely transform the look of the rear of the WRX.
Overall: 9/10 so far.
Great product, great sound, great fitment, and outstanding customer service. I'm excited to see how it sounds once it's fully broken in.
It was absolutely worth the wait, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. The difference compared to the stock exhaust is like night and day.The tone is deep and refined, bringing exactly the character that was missing from the VB WRX.

This catback system made me fall in love with my car all over again. From the first start up I was smiling and smile everytime I drive it! The WRX now sounds the way I think it should sound. This car is my first stick shift and honestly think that adding this exhaust has made me more in tune with the car and a better driver for it.
The sound is deeper than stock and it turns heads. It's pretty tame as far as over all volume which I appreciate. I dont really have a thing for pissing off my neighbors... but I could see an intermediate pipe in the future!
The quality is outstanding and the install was relatively easy. I think it took me and a buddy a little over an hour to drop the old exhaust and install.

I received a well built full catback with black tips. I like the quality and the welds is top notch! Im impressed with the packaging and they made sure I'll receive it without any damage. I love how deep the tone, the pops every aggressive shifts and rumble on low rpm! Fitment was great too! Although got a little frustrated as I didn't get any reply from my email when I inquired about ETA but it all went away after I installed this beast. Its totally worth the wait! You rock Morgan and team!

Great sound, much deeper than stock. Videos don’t do justice on how much better it sounds. Much more pops and overall just a better experience to drive the car. Not too loud to where it’s unmanageable and works amazingly as a daily exhaust. Quality is perfection. Customer service was spotty with great moments and the occasional bad ones. Overall great product with amazing quality. Only improvements that could be made are the customer service which they’ve vastly improved.

I love my catback and intermediate pipe! Mine has the resonator and mufflers, the welds on this system are beautiful and make the car sound great! Installation is pretty painless as well. If you're willing to wait a while for production, I would highly recommend this system! Morgan and her team make a great product!

So let me tell you. I have worked with Rae to get this exhaust. And I went to their shop. They are awesome. Great people and great service. Yes it might take some time for your stuff but let me tell you. You are getting quality. It will last a long time and look great. Even if you have some sort of issue. They will be on it to fix it. I highly recommend Rae catback and I plan on getting all of their parts.
